Nicki Minaj is another modern celebrity that is known for her quirky outfits and hairstyles. Minaj, a rapper and singer, has a trademark “Barbie” style. Often with wild hair that screams color palates of hot pink, bubblegum pink, and shades of blue. She often wears candy colored outfits and wild prints that make her known for being colorful and wild. Kanye West is one male celebrity known for his unique sense of style. He started the trend of wearing shutter shades. Now, you ask, what are shutter shades? They are simply sunglasses that look like window shutters. Kanye often sports bright colored pants and scarves in addition to his trademark shutter shades. Many of his fashion trends are represented in his own clothing line, which he feels is worthy to compete with other famous designers. He does not want to be just another “celebrity designer”.

Katy Perry is another female celebrity who is known for her questionable style choices and quirky feminine outfits. She is often seen wearing shades of bright pink, electric blue, and eye catching yellow. Her hairstyles include many bold and beautiful colors; one in particular is bright blue. This style has been dubbed as “Smurf Blue” by many critics, though it can’t be taken as much of an insult since Ms. Perry was one of the stars in the latest “Smurf Movie”.

Madonna is one of the most famous celebrities all over the world. She is known not only for her music, but for her ever changing and quirky style. An 80’s icon, for sure, who started a lot of fashion trends, including teased hairstyles and cross earrings. Madonna can still be seen on the red carpet today, wearing funky hairstyles and loud jewelry that grabs everyone’s attention. Though in more recent times, Madonna has been known to wear dark yet unique outfits that still tend to stand out.
